Yebisu Beer Museum

On Saturday 21.04.07 , it was a sudden decision from Anil Polineni to visit the Sapporo Beer Museum. Its a Beer Museum which is unique and which can be reached by Ebisu station ( H-2) on Hibiya Line.

The origins of "Yebisu Beer" date back to 1887, when Nippon Beer Brewery started producing beer in the area then called Mita Village. The name "Yebisu" was later adopted in slightly altered form to designate the station, and "Ebisu" has since become familiar to many as the name of the surrounding town. Yebisu's century-old tradition of brewing beer is now celebrated in a new museum dedicated to the history, science and culture of the beloved beverage. The museum will take visitors to experience new world of the beer through the "MAGIC VISION THEATER" and other video equipment that employ the latest technologies.
Admission is Free. One can enjoy the Drought beer Tasting in the Museum, But its paid tasting.

Timing :
10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.(Entrance until 5:00p.m.)Closed on Mondays and during New Year’s festivities. When Monday is a holiday, the next day will be closed

The city is also home to the eponymous Sapporo Breweries. Sapporo Breweries Limited is a Japanese company that makes beer, headquartered in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo.

Yebisu (ヱビス, Webisu?) is a beer produced by the Sapporo Brewery. Basically Yebisu is Japanese Mythological God. He is One of the Seven Gods of Fortune. He is the Smiling God.
